May 2-3, 2008

DDP and ASWSU-DDP invite DDP students, their families, and guests to participate in the May 2008 Commencement. A wide variety of Commencement events are available; the schedule, a description of events, lodging and directions are listed below.

SCHEDULE

Friday, May 2

4:00 pm PT Campus Tour If you would like to take a campus tour before the reception begins please meet in the lobby of Van Doren Hall where the Distance Degree Program office is located.

5:30-8:00 pm PT Reception Location: Ensminger Pavillion
Located on the corner of Wilson road and Lincoln Drive across from the WSU Alumni Center

Enjoy a hosted dinner sponsored by ASWSU-DDP while you find out all you need to know about participating in the weekend events and commencement ceremonies. Visit with DDP faculty, staff, administration and fellow graduates as we celebrate your success!

We will also be honoring new inductees into the DDP chapter of the Alpha Sigma Lambda honor society. If you have received and accepted an invitation into this honor society, you can pick up your honor cords at the reception.

Ceremonies for the three colleges with DDP graduates will take place at the following times on Saturday, May 3 (the degrees granted to DDP graduates in each college are shown in italics):

Campus Map

Use the online campus map to locate Van Doren hall if you would like to take a campus tour prior to the Friday reception, Ensminger Pavillion for the Friday evening reception, and Beasley Coliseum for the Saturday commencement ceremony as well as any other campus building you would like to locate.

Parking

Parking Permits will NOT be required on WSU campus Friday and Saturday, May 2 and 3. Feel free to park in a Green, Red, Yellow, or Blue parking lot free of charge or park in one of the parking garages at an hourly rate. You can view an on-line parking map at WSU Parking.
