Coug Day at the Capitol

Dear Participant,

We are excited to have you join us for the eleventh annual Coug Day at the Capitol! This weekend is focused around educating you on how the state legislature operates. Through the workshops, training sessions, and meetings spread through these three days, we hope that you will gain the knowledge to be involved at the state level of government.

I invite you to take advantage of your time in Olympia. Feel free to contact your legislators, watch committee debates, and converse with other students. Coug Day at the Capitol is an event focused around educating you, so if you have any activity you want to participate in, just ask and we will set it up.

The Washington Student Lobby (WSL) is an ASWSU Committee dedicated to educating the student body about politics and the government. WSL is committed to promoting the awareness of political issues on campus affecting students of the state of Washington and encouraging activism within the Washington State University community. If you would like to become involved with WSL please contact me.
